Proposed new development of eight/nine detached stone homes in a sylvan. 

The existing disused mill is accessed off Longhurst Lane however the existence of mature trees along the boundaries and the proximity orientation and juxtaposition of neighbouring houses means that the site is well screened from direct view from these properties. 

The existing houses along Longhurst Lane are of mixed styles which reflects the natural evolution of the settlement along the lane with the progressive infilling of gaps between older properties over the years.  This has resulted in a diversity of architectural houses styles throughout.  

Part of the site is a wooded valley which is particularly attractive and a natural wild-life area. The development will combine the wooded valley area and natural wild life habitat with the detached stone houses being one of the same.  In architectural terms the houses and landscape being one single space with the houses and landscape working together.
